Tailgating...

Congratulations to all of you. No doubt that this was one of those magic times to still hunt waterfowl. Out of curiosity, how did you do with adults verse juveniles? Thanks for all those pictures.

My friend Bobby Vericella, along with our hunting partner Matt Hany have developed a rig for an ATV to haul gear. It does an excellent job in the marsh hauling Texas Rigs or, in the field hauling guns, game bags, decoy bags or carnage. It slips into a standard hitch receiver. All 3 arms collapse and it disassembles for easy storage. It also has storage for robo poles. It's called The Rack and can be found at www.qwakgear.com.

Couple of bucks invested in that rig! Very impressive. That rack is worth its weight in gold.

Looks like another great hunt Pat, congrats. What will you do with the geese? Ours are being made into Italian brats at a local meat market. It was our first time hunting snows and that was the recommendation.
Your friends kennel isn't far from where I live in Hortonville. Small world.

Now that's a Good Time! One heck of a ATV there, kinda takes the "Fun" out of lugging hundreds of decoys & windsocks around. Lotta Snow goose sangwiches and sausage there.

Looks like a great hunt. It has to be fun when they are decoying in.
I think a lot of those geese have made there way to South Dakota in the past couple days. I saw many flocks flying over yesterday afternoon.

Al - The Rack is an impressive and helpful piece of equipment. We used it teal hunting down at our duck club early season and had all our gear stowed on it.

Jim - Bobby had some Italian Sausage made. They were good on the grill. I am having goose sticks made much like venison sticks. Bobby also had summer sausage made. It was excellent. I also cook mine in the crock pot to make a goose stroganoff as well as Italian Beef sandwiches and BBQ Sandwiches. I also marinate it, make wraps from it and cook it on the grill. All outstanding.

Tim - Wednesday morning our guide put two enormous groups in the hole. It was incredible. Nothing I will forget anytime soon...
