TDB 14 CL ?

John,

I still own a 1993 14 foot classic I bought new. The two long poles go in the front bow holes and the two shorter ones go in the stern back holes. If you switch them, it is impossible to set up the blind.

I would recommend filling them with expandable foam in case one goes overboard.

What a great idea, I assume that's enough to make it float. Thanks for sharing

Your other option is to cap each end opening with a piece of dowel, coated in contact cement...less total weight and more buoyancy. This will not work on the TDB-17' blind support poles due to their greater weight. I just clip mine into hard rubber pole storage clips from Sea Dog that I mounted on the shelves; same for the stern light mast and my boat hook.
