Sorry I have not taken any pictures.. .the 4:1 epoxy from US Composites works pretty well in cold temps... The part B is VERY thick!!! The transom is on... I wrapped the stern with 10 oz cloth.... then bolted the transom on... I then used tied the hull to the transom with 17 oz biaxle... followed by wrapping the transom/stern with another layer of 10 oz cloth. This may have been over kill... but... o-well.

Due to chips in the hull, and numberous cracks in the gel coat, I am going to wrap the bottom of the hull with 10oz cloth. The worst part of this is that now I have to paint the entire bottom of the boat.

Note... NO Motor mount.

LOL That is one well traveled boat right there! The funny thing is, it could have never moved out of the state to get to you. I tried for 6 mos to find someone that wanted it, before I mad the trip and hauled it to Alabama. It definately has potential, though.

You are right Bill this boat has more miles for never being wet than any boat in history!!!! :) ( I am in Iowa...not Ohio)

Only if you are paddleing Dave..... on second thought... NO!!!!

I havent done any sanding... so gravity had an effect in couple of spots... but it wil not effect anything.

I thought all 'yankee land' was the same place? LOL I'm glad to see it finally get a transom, and it looks good. Do you have any pics of the inside at the transom, assuming there was any interior bracing done? Looks good.

Toledo is about 10 hours from me. I didn't take any pictures of the inside... I ran out and took these pics this morning... so i would not get in anymore trouble for having a pictureless post!!! :)

I have 3/4" epoxied plywood onthe inside that was scribed to match the hull. I think 2 1/4" of plywood, bolts, epoxy peanut butter, 17 oz tape, and 10 oz cloth will hold the 105# motor adequately... I hope!!!!! :)

Brian,

I hope you made lots of weights. From the looks of Phils boat as it now sits on his trailer, it will take quite a number of weights to self right that boat!!

I taped the seam on Sunday, and I just got in from sheathing the hull with 10 OZ cloth. I might sneak out to snap a few pictures. I will put another coat of epoxy on in the morning... then I have to wait for it to cure....

I am waiting for me wife to bring home some stencils so I can apply my registration numbers... I need to do the inside wiring and foam... but........I think the boat is coming along.
