TDB style blind on AA Blackjack

Contemplating building TDB style blind to use on my AA Blackjack for next season. Does anyone have pics of the hardware configuration that style blindframe uses. I know its bimini fitting but am not sure of arrangement that is used for front and rear door attachment to side panels. Also what type of attachment point was used for conduit upright poles to deck?

I wouldn't put a high profile blind on a low profile boat.

If you do venture to building one please post details. Always interesting.

I can't comment on the use/need of the TDB-type blind on your Blackjack, but as far as hardware and fittings, here's what I did on both my old, and my new boats. The fittings used in the bankes, TDB type boats are not only expensive, but there is no room fo adjustments. With the slide type used on mine, while not infinitely adjustable, there is plenty of room for it. I've said before, I hunt with a guy who is maybe 5'-5" in heels, where I'm a tall 6'-1". When we hunt together, he just drops his end a bit so he doesn't have to sit on a bar stool to see.

Not only that, but these are free. I used a hydraulic press to flatten the pipe, but I think a good vise will work. Not sure about hammering into shape, Aluminum tends to stretch all funky when hammered to shape.

This was my "old" boat-

Yes, I agree but I,ve already got dodger and layout blind style doors built for it. Use this boat a lot when gunning by myself but would like the option of hunting 2 people sometimes or if useing against timber background where higher blind height is,nt a probl;em.Plan on being able to quickly switch between the 2 styles depening on need.

Blind looks good. I see where you,ve designed in height adjustment in your pin placement.,I,ve used same concept of adjustment but on lower legs of fold down blind on my 2072 Seaark. Plenty of options I could use for hardware but haveing bimini fitting already installed on deck for Dodger and layout doors. Hopeing to design a framework thats a quick switch between the two.
