Last couple of Days Ive been hunting with my Classic Browning Superposed Superlight. Most natural pointing shotgun Ive ever shot. No safe Queens at My House. You have to earn your keep at My House.
What load are you shooting through it? I once had a Superpose Mag that is the best pointing gun I ever handled. I was seriously considering opening up the chokes and taking a chance shooting steel through it. Couldn't justify the expense of the non-toxic special loads. After a big advice/recommendation search I finally talked myself out of barrel modifications and shooting steel and ended up trading the gun. I sometimes wish I kept it and chanced it.
Rob, very nice , I have a 60's vintage 12 ga and love it for pheasant hunting, one of these days I'll buy some non tox for it and shoot a few ducks with it.
What a great shot. Well done, Rob. I thought you might be spreading out some blue shells (Peters) to shoot instead. Congrats on the nice limit of teal.

Very cool! I plan to hunt with my great grandfather's old breach loading hammer gun this year. He bought it new in the early 1890s in New England after coming here from England. "Big John" would be happy I still have that old hardware gun. The Classic Doubles are the load to use. Hitch
