THIS POST IS TO THANK STEVE SUTTON FOR TELLING ME ABOUT JASON RUSSELL MY NEW DECOYS CAME TODAY AND MY WIFE SAYS I CAN NOT HUNT WITH THEM SHE WANTS TO DECORATE WITH THEM GUESS I GET TO ORDER MORE THANKS STEVE I ALSO HAVE A QUESTION ABOUT WHEN I REPLACE MY TRANSOM WITH NEW WOOD SHOULD MY FIN ON MOTOR GO TO BOTTOM OF SKEG OR TO BOTTOM OF BOAT ONLY THANKS COY
 
I believe you are talking about the cavitation plate on an outboard and its position relative to the bottom of the boat?? If so the cavitation plate usually should be somewhere from 1" below to level with the bottom of the boat I think. But I'm sure that somebody will chime in here soon. What motor?
