2014 marks the 7th year of the Rutger's Institute Decoy Float!

When: Friday August 22, 2014 at 5 pm until the fire goes out.
Where: Gun Lake in Wayland, MI
Host: Dave Robinson (PM for address - like an RSVP)

What a great time to get some decoys in the water while the weather is still warm and the paint is still tacky I'll admit to being too busy this summer but I'm over it. This is too much fun to put off any longer! So, pack a bag (or 2) of your favorite decoys, grab a 6 pack of your choice, and kiss the wife good-bye. It's time to float those blocks.

I'll be grilling hot dogs and brats. There will also be chips and pop available. If you're a cook, feel free to bring a side dish or desert (we'll eat anything - even pickled bluegills). If you have any questions, just ask. Carvers and duck hunters welcomed.

David, although that might be a neat road trip, i am committed to do a demo this weekend at Alpocas state park, in delaware--May even break out a new hatchet and do a bit of roughing on a wood deke! That may be a scary note for all who have seen obi and sharp objects. :?0
