Very similar to what happened to Remington too. New owner/parent company saddled them with another company?s bad debt.

Another thing along the GREED line is Amazon.
We are seeing a destruction of many companies as a result of Amazon.
This has also negatively impacted our Radio Control Model Airplane hobby and flying....on top of the terrorist threat from drones and FPV (First Person View-Goggles to view what the drone sees...out of line-of-sight).
FAA is drastically limiting our hobby and seem to be trying to completely eliminate.
Amazon is driving much of this. They want nothing interferring with "their" airspace for drone delivery of packages.
Watch and see how this progresses.
Our AMA (Amateur Modeling Association) has spent millions on lobbying efforts to prevent the FAA from destroying us and much of the money has merely been wasted.
The FAA doesn't care about modelers and only care about the money they will get from Amazon for flying rights.

Been reading alot about the power and negative impact, and a PBS show on it's unceasing expansion into all aspects of life in the high tech age.
Different players, in a different age, trying and doing the same things, under different monikers.
Everything comes with a price, but only for so long...
