The BB3 Launch

Brian,
that boat looks great. If you need it I have the book on that merc motor. Dont bother with a sealock one if you need service info. OEM is the only thing with all the right info. If my motor dosnt start on the second pull Im doing something wrong.

Way to go Brian......Congratulations...!!!! Tell me, how great of a feeling is that.!! She looks awesome in the water. Good Luck and Stay Safe

Bob,thanks for the offer,I will let you know if Ill need it,Iwas concerned about how far the fuel had to travel from tank to motor, but my concerns were put to rest today on the water, Bob,what is good material to use for shims under the motor? Is aluminum ok,or is wood the best go?Thanks for looking and the offer,Brian Rippelmeyer

Charlie,It was awesome!!! All of the work was well worth it! I putted around the lake, then my Dad said "hammer it see what it will do" so I whacked it and she took right off,I shimmed with some scrap wood, made a big difference, very very stable boat, impressive wave handling,I know we made the right choice,I really would like David Clark to make my dodger, might have to make a crazy road trip. Charlie many thanks for the support thru this project,I reallly appreciate it, Brian Rippelmeyer

I think most guys who needed it used wood like oak or something similar. Alu. would be fine as well if you have some.

Congrats, she's a beauty!! I bet that was quite a feeling out there today. Thanks for sharing the project and the journey with us. Ed

Brian

Your boat is superb. You do outstanding work and should be very proud of it for many years. I congratulate you.

Eric

Brian,

Congratulations! The boat looks great - you put some real craftsmanship into it. Bet you really enjoy it in the coming seasons.

Take care,
Bill

Great job Brian. Can't wait to see it in person in August. Once you start hunting out of it, everytime you are out in snotty weather, etc. you will reconfirm that you made the right decision.

Tod,I shimmed it up because I was getting a little spray off of the motor and into the boat,I placed a 1/4 inch thick piece in under the motor and it cured the problem.
