I put this here to take the heat off of Tony's Predator build post. I also put this post here to say a few words about Duckboats.net I think this site is all about duck boats and the members that are involved with duck boats. The site is up and alive any night you can't sleep, any day you can't hunt and any time you just want to think about, read, or post about duck boats. I don't give a roadkilled possum's snarl if a boat build is commercial, home, sailboat conversion, BBSB re-hab, or just plain old driveway painting a v-hull to turn something duckworthy. Get over the nit picking of lawyer interpretation of the forum rules. If it's about duck boats and someone took the time to post about it...enjoy the offseason reading. THANK YOU all who take the time to post about duck boats here. THANK YOU to all who post photos for us to enjoy. There I'll step off my box now and pass the microphone.

As a mostly lurker, my opinion may not mean much but I agree with you 100% and agree that post's either commercial or garage built duckboats are what it is that keeps me coming back.

I disagree, this place started out about building one duckboat, but it has burgeoned off into so much more. Don't type cast us!

And yes, Tony and other manufactures are welcome to show how they build boats, if you're not interested, don't read those posts. If you think they are getting too much free advertisement, for crying out load, stop replying and bringing it to the top to see...in fact, start a post of your own and work to bump it off the front page.

Ding, ding, ding.... too much whining about content and not enough posting themselves. A wise man once said: "the forum is what you (we) make it".

It sure would suck to be someone so boring to have nothing to post and just read what others do.

Plus it wouldn't hurt for these guys to throw a few bucks into the DHBP hat too. Support the site that they are so willing to defend with their typing fingers - those same fingers can log into paypal too!
