The bride and groom

Congratulations Nick! May you both see many, many. many happy years together.

Congratulations Nick, hope she will let you use them on a late honeymoon hunt?

I carved mini wood ducks for my wedding cake topper.

Absolutely using them this year. No complaints on the number of goose decoys from her, only the sea ducks.

And yes! They mate for life :)

Just a little self plug here. My wedding was yesterday, these two props were at the wedding as seen. All of that tongue lashing about the ever growing decoy population has washed away now that some were stars of the show.

Congratulations! (And what's a newlywed doing posting on DHBP?)

I could never have gotten away with that, although my best man and ushers did have Carrie Stevens style streamer flies instead of flowers for their lapels.

My best man commented in his speech that I'm on this site daily. Total roast.

No honeymoon due to covid. We want to go to Italy (Andrea is 100% and I'm 50%), so we are planning for 2023. We took two weeks off of work to go fishing LIS and relax. Plus, you all are family too

No covid back in 2007, but my wife and I did the same. We took a week in Maine to relax, hike, and fish a little; then a trip to Vieques, Puerto Rico to lie on the beach for a more traditional honeymoon about 6 months later.

1st,,,,,,,,,,,, congrats

2nd (and I wasn't going to say anything, at first) At least the geese used, were not "cooked", as in "your goose is cooked now". [w00t]

Congrats to you both! And you thought you would be broke as a waterfowler....HAHAHA!
