I thought it would be a much neater gift to my aunt who wanted me to carve her a decoy, if I hunted over it and harvested some of the species. I plan on putting a little photo thing together, from the beginning block of cedar all the way to the harvested birds over it.
Got out this morning, threw a quick strap on it and anchor line and headed to our late season teal spot.
Only had 3-4 flocks give us a go but it was good fun and quick quick shooting.
