Although not directly waterfowl related, and since not during season, I thought I would share my Saturday experience. Hope some find it interesting especially since a lot of the history pertains to the northeast and upper midwest.
My patient is an avid relics finder and collector. This is just one of his four walls. The silver cross is from Squaw Island which was just off our marsh in Sandusky Bay before eroding away. The local Native American Indians (Wyandots) used it as a burial ground. Then numerous tomahawks and war clubs were from numerous places. He also has many silver articles from the silversmith R Cruickshank of Montreal. My favorite tomahawk had 3 stick figures with heads (captives) on one side, and 9 figures without heads (kills) on the other.
