Thanks for the tip...I'll likely be using dowels for short stakes...hadn't thought about long stakes yet but I will take a look at those bars...just was using the re-bar (justlying in the garage doncha know) to put them up so my flock could stand up and I could see what they look like.

For stakes, go to Tractor Supply, they have 3ft fiberglass fence posts for less than $1 each. Cut easy and sand a point on one end.....

That decoy is a sweet little decoy. And what's even better is that it's living the life it was made to live and has done yeomans duty as a Judas duck and because of that is much despised by the Whistling Ducks of FL for its effectiveness.

I really like it a lot...I think you did a great job on it.
