The value of a boat building buddy.

This probably doesn't warrant a new thread, but I thought I would extend my gratitude to all of you guys who help someone in the day to day boat building work. One of the reasons my project stalled in the Fall was that I am one who has a hard time motivating myself to work alone. I know there are a lot of you who live in your shop and are very self motivated, but for people like me, having a friend who commits to work side by side with you is invaluable.

I ran into my best friends grown up son Levi earlier this year, started talking about the boat and he offered to help. Not only am I way more productive with his help, but he is a very smart kid with good ideas, plus it is fun to share the satisfaction of a DIY project with a friend. So here's to you, "stand by your side, epoxy man"! We are at a point that if there was a big flood we could float away in this boat, it would be a little floppy but it would float.

Amen is right!
I asked a friend for help (who thankfully said no problem!) when it was time to spread the epoxy over the glass on the hull. He mixed new batches while I stayed a 1/2 step ahead of the curing batches....
