This one had us the other day in the saltwater marsh in Port Aransas Texas. This rascal decoyed it, and it was a duck, so it the fog we collected it. Minutes before we seen a flock of the "Mexican tree ducks" ease by and we had no chance after they had made it past us before we could tell what they were.

Awesome. In Florida, we had blackbelly whistlers (aka Mexican squealers, Mexican tree ducks), and fulvous whistling ducks. All 6 of your limit could be blackbellies, and when a big flock passes low, all knotted up, it wasn't hard to triple (or even quadruple!). I would never pass them up. Some of the best eating ducks around, and they're pretty big too. Fulvous are good too, but the limit was one, and they're a little smaller.
