I'm new user and would like some help to learn about the Thunder Bay Duck Boat I have. The USCG tag says it was made in Alpena, MI and is a 1982 model. 13' 6" with a generally elliptical cockpit that is 94" x 36'(at widest). The top deck is 64" wide with interior floor 44" wide (both at widest point). It also has a coaming around the entire cockpit.Rated for a 7hp outboard - 2 persons or 456 lbs. I found they started making boats in '82 and went out of business in '86, so I'm pretty sure they never had a website. We're all always interested in seeing pictures of different duckboats.

You might want to try the Jesse Besser Museuem in Alpena for a little help. They do have a couple guys that are sharp with the history of the Thunder Bay area. They also have a website. If you PM me I will pass a couple names to you.
