Tick Stick

You tube has a way of distracting me from work. Often I need to watch videos on products and it can get easy to go down the rabbit hole... This morning I came across this video and thought there would be some people on here that would find this helpful. I have never seen a Tick stick before, but can think of a couple times over the years where this would have come in handy to fit odd shaped parts.

Neat, thanks for sharing that (but DAMN is that guy long winded).

Thanks, Neal!

I have used tick sticks over the years - but had not seen the added feature of the cut-outs for strong asymmetry. I always used just a straight length of light wood with an acute angle on the business end. The most common application was fitting quarter knees or bulkheads to the inside of a round-bottomed hull. This fancy-schmancy device certainly would be handy when used as shown - within complex structures.

All the best,

SJS
