Its time to let go of The boats .My hunting buddy has moved away and I'm to old to go out by myself.

Time to find someone younger to mentor! I have made up for the loss of both my dear friends and gunning partners of over 40 years by gunning with a gent who was with us in a now defunct hunt club, going with my son to Vermont for an annual gathering with old friends, AND continuing a tradition of going to Argentina to hunt for a week .For what it's worth, i am now 81 and still love gunning, especially with friends, my lab, Cap, and using decoys made by me and other friends. Gotta love it!

Hi George, I'm still hunting over your golden eyes I picked up at Westlake a few moons ago in a trade for hats. Glad to hear you're still gunnin.

I agree with George. Find a young fella to mentor. The younger generation today needs to see what waterfowling is like from a seasoned veteran and not how it is being portrayed as by some of these young punks.
 
David and George make an important point here. Younger people do need people like yourself to introduce them to something that doesn't give instant gratification and video game like action, which is what is broadcast today. Quantity is not what this is about. I see the same thing going on in fly fishing. I think you would enjoy it.
