Today he may be digging himself out of the latest snow storm. He was on facebook just the other day, ragging on the good folks in Iowa. I expect the snowfall was payback/Karma for his badmouthing those fine Iowa folk. [cool]
 
Looks like he checked in here March 9. All seems well with him, I follow him on Instagram.
 
He was active here for many years and his absence has been conspicuous to me . I wish he'd participate again.

He just "liked" some of my epic social media content, so at least I can say his taste is still good!

All is well. Maybe some day it will rain again in SD and I can shoot a duck once more.

Hello Al,
Your well wishes must have worked. Widespread 1.5 up to 5 inches of rain all over SD in the past day. Sounds like for the next few weeks a wet pattern is possible. A lot of areas will still need more but it's a beginning.
 
Tim, that is great news. Now that gives me hope that those folks I know who live in western Minnesota also got some of the same rains as you.

Here is a picture of Coal. I will have him come along on some duck hunts this fall with Chip when the early teal season begins this coming September. When I think about Chip getting closer to 10 each day, I can only smile and think of how lucky he is because my aging process seems to blitz his.

Coal looks like an eager retriever.
The rain was widespread. They may not have gotten as much but they did get some.
