Tool bag?

Started Traveling more with work and wanting to bring my carvings with me for when I have down time.
Wanting a bag I can keep my gouges and chisels organized and protected

Gonna see how this is going to go

I second Eric's suggestion regarding the DeWalt tool bags. I have a bunch of DeWalt cordless tools and most of the bags they came with have been repurposed.

Add me to the list. I have a couple of different sizes - very handy and secure (with the zipper opening).

To keep edge tools sharp when in as bag, I use either cardboard or dense packing foam - both scavenged materials.

All the best,

I use some LL Bean totes that have seen better days. Piece of cork for the carving knives and a few head blanks roughed out on the band saw.

Another option since you specifically mentioned gouges and chisels is a leather roll-up pouch. In fact you could tuck this one inside that Dewalt bag :)

I’m not sure if they have a bag that will suit your needs, but they are extremely well built and durable. Lots of tradesmen like myself swear by them. Unfortunately they are not cheap but worth the money.

I use tool rolls for my edge tools.

Sounds like there are some good ideas for bags already. I like to keep my gouges / chisels protected with a length of clear pvc tubing for transport.
