transom drain plug kit

I need to repair/replace the drain plug on my duck boat. When I was pulled out of the Mississippi last November they left my boat out thru the winter, it fillied with water and froze damaging the plug. It's a smaller diameter then the standard 1' plugl--7/8's I think. Do they make that small a plug now or should I replace the tube with a drain plug kit and if so where can I find a replacement kit?

I think they're still a standard size. You should be able to get one from your local boat shop. If you have a 1/2" chucked drill you could drill out the old and putin a new 1" tube and drain plug. I know you can get that locally.

Thanks Ed--our local boat shop, small as it was, has closed it doors. I'll have to go to West Marine in Madison. Geez, I can't believe we're in the midst of another helluva storm---enough already!
