Transom Savers

Charlie,
I use one. Works pretty good. I like the idea of the weight being supported rather than the motor bouncing up and down putting all that stress on the transom. I only use them for my duck boats and large inflatable not on larger boats. Let me know if your going to the SSWA show and I'll bring one with me so you can check it out.

Hi Charlie,
I use one on my broadbill and like it alot. I built mine, there's not much to them.
It has to save wear and tear while trailering.

Yes John,I will be there and would like to check out what you use.

I bought one and I built one. I like the kind that prevent your motor from twisting side to side as well. Make sure the ears or whatever you want to call them are long enough to hold the leg in place.

Highly recommended.
