Transom Weight Limits for TDB Classic

TDB owners or boat experts, any idea how much weight a TDB 14 Classic TRANSOM can hold? I want to put a 120-pound motor on mine. The boat is rated for 15hp. The original manufacturer (TDB in Maine) is no longer in business and the new manufacturer (Arthur Armstrong) won't give up any info other than to reiterate that it's rated for 15hp. I have a TDB 14 that was built in maine that has a 25 hp never had any problems. Most of the people I know that have TDBs reinforce the motor mount I have seen several different methods, take a look at the TDB in the classifieds there is pictures of the motor mount that he reinforced.
