Howdy friends, I haven't been keeping up with all the many threads but did read a couple. I just ditto the many thoughts on how this forum truely is a close group of friends. I am happy to be associated with this group of gentlemen.
Now for some pictures.
Made down to Homer and back to Ninulchik (sp?) for a halibut trip.
Yes the big one is mine (of course, hehe) all 88lbs of him.
I think the Alaska body shop guys must plant these things along the roadways,,,,,,, they are everywhere.
Even browsing in peoples front yards. This one was in Homer.
A real tackle buster for sure. Sorry I couldn't rotate the photo for you.
This one has a bit more heft to it.
Just gathering a bit of fire wood.
Found a bear's track yesterday along the stream. That's a moose track just to the left of the bear print.
A few pictures of a very big ice cube!
Guess thats about it for now. I'm having a ball here and not sure I want to go home. Maybe Jesse or Ray know of a machine shop needing another worker?
