Well, it looks like the marshes of Louisiana will take the direct hit but we are still in the bad (eastern) sector.
The storm is only supposed to be a Cat 1 when it hits but that is bad enough.
We will know Thursday morning.
One bonus is that the area north of the coast will get some badly needed rainfall.

In the mean time, we've stocked up on essentials and will be hunkered down at the homestead. We are at 250', so no worry from flooding or storm surge. A stray tornado or falling limb is our only worry. Unless the power is out for a while and we all get heat stroke.

spent all day yesterday moving boats and securing everything that could possibly be wind driven. Really bad timing for submerged aquatics. could ruin the whole season.

3 days later and we are still dealing with rain, tornadoes and TS force winds. Cant get to our offices because the road is flooded. Good thing the kids went back to school, we were all getting a little cabin fever and on each others nerves.
No damage, just lots of little branches and leaves down. And frayed nerves.

Good to hear you made it through OK!

Hasn't started raining in Little Rock yet, but we are supposed to get anywhere from 10 to 18 inches, depending on track of eye. Supposed to start this afternoon. Still partly sunny, but the winds are picking up though. Trip.
