TS Isaac

i just really don't want it to come in and destroy the submerged aquatics over here. We are looking good, and there is a drought everywhere above us. it is setting up to be an epic year.

Same exact story over here, has the potential to really mess up our grassbeds, and a lot of other stuff.

Looks like it keeps moving a little farther west. I'd like to see it move over far enough over to go up into TX. We often get moisture pushed up here when they get a good storm at that angle.
I guess it doesn't matter what we want because it will hit where it wants to hit. Good luck to everyone along the Gulf.

Carl,

Sorry it looks like it's going to pee in your pool but man can we use the push up the Mississippi Valley cooridor. I've never seen it so dry!

Carl,
When I saw this graph it made me think of a thread from about a week ago when you were talking about how great the habitat looks and with it being so dry in the rest of the country how the Gulf seemed like the place to be this year for duck hunting.
I sure hope something happens to diminish this monster that seems to be bearing down on you. Keep us posted.

I'm praying for you Carl... praying that it tracks much further west.... and swings up this way!
Hate for anyone to receive the brunt of the storm... but it is gonna take an event just like this to bring relief to us folks living in "the dry" states.

The models keep pushing it further west.

I have several meteorology friends and they are talking that it's likely to make landfall further west now. 3 days out is when they begin to have more confidence in certain models.

wind/precipmodel you can use the previous/next links to follow the predicted track.

another model which puts it making landfall in the florida panhandle

Stay safe down there guys, if it tracks out into the gulf a little bit, it could REALLY pick up some steam before making landfall!
