Guys - I don't hunt gobblers but managed to get very close to a bunch of them yesterday strutting their stuff............will post some pics tomorrow.

Hey Sarge,

I picked up my boat Saturday from the marina. Depending on weather, I may head out for a little bit this coming Saturday.

Are those birds on huntable ground?

Hi Troy - The flock has been roaming over a pretty big area and some of it is huntable with LOP but I got some pics of the flock in an area of town that is not huntable. I hope to get the fishing boat in the water this coming weekend, as soon as we can get paint to the bottom.

i was out on lake patoka on saturday and had 3 big toms working i was crappie fishing and didn't have a turkey call with me so i was just doing it by mouth and got them to respond every time. guess i didn't sound that bad. would love to go hunt them but the thing is season here doesnt open untill the 27th of this month i am afraid by that time all the birds will be done. it is really frustrating
