Two Man Duckboat Suggestions?

I am thinking of selling my one man Barnegat Bay Skiff and would like to upgrade to a boat capable of hunting two men comfortably. The boat should be easily trailered, needs float in skinny water and have the ability to be grassed. This boat will primarily hunt small ponds, marshes, estuaries, etc and will not be used on big water. Does anyone have any suggestions on what type of boat I should be looking for? Any input would be appreciated.....

I've seen some modified southbay boats that fits 2 men comfy. I don't know if the modifications were at the factory or the individual owners used modified the design. The last time I went to the South shore Waterfowlers boat show a guy had one there. He said he cut the boat in half lenghtwise and added about a 16 inch insert (the refirberglassed). It looked good, don't know how well it handles. They are base out of sayville LI and I think there's a web page also.

If you are looking for a light good looking boat "no wood". Our 14 is the best boats made well all of our boats are. Not heavy like a bbsb, plans off and dont skip or rock like a tdb. A and needs half the hp as the rest. But it is a sneakbox so it just for duckin

Thanks for all the suggestions.... I want to stay "budgeted" on this... so a TDB is out, but I might look into the great south bay boats....

Pat,Do you have personal experience with this boat? The reason I ask is I am looking for one also but am not sure this boat is big enough for two hunters. If you have any further insight I would appreciate it.

All the above-mentioned boats will fit the bill. Also take a look at the Arthur Armstrong Broadbill/Blackjack. It does all the things you are looking for.
