Van Dykes or McKenzies discount code?

I know this is very spammish but wondering if anyone happens to know of a Van Dykes or McKenzies shipping or discount code? Looking to place a small order, their shipping is killer... :-(

Thanks Doug and Phil. And BTW, their shipping to North AL is the most outrageous of anywhere I've purchased... anything.... ever. I wanted to get a cpl of foam/foux barnwood panels to display turkey fans and shipping is $65!!! The full size fan plaque itself is pricey at $47.50 ea. I do a ton of selling on ebay/amazon and ship a lot of product. I could ship something that size for $20-25ish dollars anywhere in the lower 48. No idea why they charge that much.

..... I've definitely decided to just make them myself, wanted to hit the "easy button" but the cheap side of me wont allow it.

My guess is that if they are shipping UPS, the freight is figured on "dimensional weight". For instance, if you have a turkey body that weighs 6# in a box 24" x 24" x 18", you could be charged for 40# of freight because of the size of the box and what it "should" hold.

You might be able to charge less because you are willing to put up with the crap that the USPS provides.

I've used Greg Dorrance Co and have been super impressed with their customer service/speed.. I know they have a bunch of stuff Van Dykes has, but it just depends on what exactly your looking for? May be worth checking em out

Terry - Aaaaahhhh, that makes sense. And relative to me putting up with the USPS garbage, yea I do it because I only sell online as a hobby to support my hobbies and clothing needs of growing younguns... no way I could run a business and deal with their "issues" on a regular basis.

Jake - Thanks for the suggestion! I wasn't aware of them. Had always used Van Dykes or McKenzies for past 18ish years.
