Invited to a little get together a few weeks back. The woman stopped to get some whiskey and coke for me as I like to sip it every so often at some get togethers (im really not a big drinker). Crown came out with some new flavors, and she knows I like coke zero. She asked if I wanted to try the vanilla and i said sure, as Im a fan of vanilla coke every once in awhile. Kind of figured thats what it would taste like. NOPE!!! This combo turns into cream soda. ITS WILD!! At first I mixed like 70/30 and it tasted just like a cream soda. Couldnt even taste the alcohol, so I made it a bit stronger, went like 60/40. Still just cream soda. So I went 50/50 and it finally had some whiskey taste to it but still.... Just a cream soda. Thought i was crazy, so I started making some for others and next thing I know, we are all drunk off cream soda.
So I tested it when all my buddies flew in to hunt. I made one, let them try and they thought I was pulling their leg as they couldnt taste any alcohol and it tasted just like a cream soda. I let them make it, and one old man never drinks, and he couldnt even believe what he was tasting and that it even had alcohol in it. Kind of blew his mind, the same way it blew mine the first time i mixed it. If you are a cream soda fan, and wanna have a little refresher, not sure why this combo comes out this way, but its fantastic.
