Living on Long Island, I am all too aware of the challenges we sportsman face; many of which are political.
It is vital that we get out and vote, and to also spread the word to our family/friends who share the same values.
Also, remember that local politics can impact our lives just as much (if not, more) than national politics.

And I bitch all the time about this darn island I live on.
Here, the activity of "scouting" involves searching through all the levels of government to determine whether there's some law, ordinance, or code that prohibits you from hunting in an area.
