Was out this weekend at a friends place

on the marsh and she's got lots of woods behind her property....anyway, I wandered back to see if the Eagles were still using the nest (been using it at least for ten years that I know of) and see if the babies were in there.

yup the babies were in there...getting ready to fledge too

also an osprey on her property that's used that particular crane for nesting for at least ten years as well...

The green eye shadow is one of the breeding colors of an adult great egret. It's pretty though.
