Waterproof Jacket

So.. How do we dip the Atlas to .... not be bright?

Mine just get hidden in my bag while I'm hunting. I have several pairs of cheap light fleece gloves that I bring with me every day. I wear my atlas gloves when setting and picking up the spread or retrieving downed birds. The fleece gloves are worn the rest of the time. One pair goes in my jacket under my left armpit and one on my hands. Two spare pairs are kept in my bag. If my hands get cold those gloves come off and into my jacket and the nice warm gloves come out of my jacket and put on my hands. If a pair gets wet accidentally they go in the bag and a spare pair are substituted. Guaranteed to never have cold hands again as long as you keep the inside of your atlas gloves dry

I'm not a big Walmart guy but it's the only place I've found these gloves. Warm with EXCELLENT dexterity (I shoot with them on) and inexpensive. Not at all good in wind or wet but if you're dry and sheltered from the wind you'll stay warm with just a couple pairs and my secret formula of exchanging gloves for armpit warmed ones

I only wear gloves when my hands might get wet, running the boat, picking up decoys and birds, etc. I don't wear gloves while actually 'hunting'. All of my jackets or sweaters or hoodies have handwarmer pockets that I just keep my hands in all day. If it's super bitter I put some hand warmers in the pocket. Might not work for all, but that's been my system for a while now. Have to be vigilant about putting gloves on if your hands might get wet though. Also if it's super frigid I bring two pair of Atlas just in case.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I either talked with or researched most of the companies. Ended up going with the Pintail jacket from Rivers West. I'll test it on my snow goose hunt in South Dakota this March.
An interesting side note. As I chatted with two of the company reps about their product one offered a 20% discount the other gave me a code for free shipping. Might have to make that part of my ordering process in the future. Or maybe it was a fluke.

Thanks again.
