Weatherproof box for electronics

Anyone fabricated an electronics box for their duckboat? I'm looking to make/buy something to house a small chartplotter/finder and my switchpanel (4switch) and it will be mounted on a bench seat along the gunnel. Ideas? Pics? Wondering if I a pelican box on end may be deep enough?

Box from Harbor Freight. My outboard was converted to tiller, but not with a full kit. I added a spare kill switch key in case I go over and have someone in the boat with me... they can start the boat and get me! I make sure to point it out to anyone who hunts with me.

Those plastic bxs sure do make great remote switch panel housing. I use small plastic ammo cans for such in a 1436 and a Ghenooe. Makes it so much easier to access back of panel during wiring/trouble shooting procedure

For boat wiring projects I often find these waterproof junction boxes to be perfect for switch placement when the switch is placed far enough away from the battery that the two cannot be placed in the same box. They are cheap and handy.

I used a Plastic junction box from home depot for the switch panel and have an arm for the depth finder. I just added the arm for the depth finder when I upgraded. My old setup it was fixed and was kind of a pain because I could not necessarily see it depending on where I was in the boat. Now I can make it visible when needed and tucked out of the way when it is not.

Nice. I'm starting to warm up to the arm. Had hoped to leave the chartplotter hooked up and close up the box but maybe it's too much to ask and I'll just make it easily removable
