weekend of spearing

it was a good weekend, but unfortunately they are never long enough.

i tried crabbing on friday. it was a waste of time but it felt great to be out there, bunker and snappers are everywhere and i have never seen so many terrapin in my life. we got 1



i tried a new spot with my little cousin. it was wicked dirty but i saw serious numbers of togs (even a 10# fish in 1ft of water hanging out on top of a rock).
i saw a few stripers and ended up with my limit



sunday we went to our usual spot and there were very few fish. i ended up with my limit but was swimming with 40"+ stripers the whole time (unfortunatly we cant crack them in CT) they were hammering peanut bunker that i chased of the ledge

Chris, nice fish. Spent many years spearing black fish and bass here on long island. Spent my teens diving for golf balls where my dad worked. Made good spending money in those years.
