Weekend Outdoors Festival - SW Ohio

There is a hunter's thing at our church this weekend. It is mostly geared to deer hunters - free rack scoring, bring your mounts etc. But there is also a fly fishing demo, and I'm going to set up a table with some decoys and bring some of my unfinished carvings. I hope to let people know that duck hunting is really lots better than deer hunting, decoy carving isn't complicated, and you can do it without a ton of expensive equipment.

If you live in SW Ohio, come on out. (Or if you want to drive/fly from the west coast or England - you are welcome too). It is a few miles north of 275 and just off 75. Take the Tylersville road exit and go east about a mile. The church is on the south side of Tylersville next to Kohls.

Must be getting old. Doors open at 3:00, food until 5:30 I think and the speaker/door prizes after that. They will be running seminars and scoring deer until 5:30 as well as the silent auction.

I live in Liberty Township as well. I will try to stop in and introduce myself. I always like to meet people in my area that duck hunt.

Sounds like a good time. The Hillsboro Bible Baptist Church has an event every Jan-Feb. It has become huge. With all the big bucks being bagged in Ohio it makes it very popular. Good luck on your table Andrew. I would visit but I have a carry in dinner at the Gun club tonight and a 5 stand shoot tomorrow. If any of you guys would like to shoot some 5 stand just let me know. I live about 40-50 minutes east of you. John
