Hi guys,

In less than 48 hours I hope to be care free and on the road. I'll be heading out on my six week Alaska adventure. I may have some limited access to computers at a couple stops during my trip but don't expect much from me. I don't plan to spend much time sitting indoors. Except of course the time I'll be sitting in my truck cab.

Right now I'm just like a kid at Christmas except I have visions running thru my head of standing in a cold Alaska river casting flies to thousands of spawning Salmon,,,,,,,, and trout,,,,,,,,,,, and grayling ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,and pike and,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, well you get the picture.

I guess I really don't have any point to this posting, I'm just excited and ready to get going.

Enjoy your trip and not to repeat myself but get on the road early everyday because that's when you see all the animals down eating the salt on the shoulders. Have a safe trip!

Dave, Have a safe trip and a wonderful time. I can't wait to compare notes from when we went in '89. If you can stop at Laird Hot Springs, you won't forget it.
 
You can stop at small coffee shops and get on the net I think. Have a great time and don't run off with one of those Athabaskan women!
 
Dave, I was at postnet the other day and a guy used their computer to check on a car bid. I think you can use them by the minute or something.

Dave, looking forward to meeting you. I do recommend calling Jesse when you start heading south on the Parks. He is a great man to spend time with. We are starting to plan a trip for kings at the end of June just before you may be headed our way, but the weekend of the 29th may be a good day to be out on the river with Jesse. I really want to chase some rainbows with him this season.
