Wet and Muddy!

Hard day in the field, seen a good amount of birds but they were extreamly hard to decoy. I Managed to shot a few for Trigger.

Nice photos. Congrats on the hunt and the first Pin for the pup. Nice looking Chessie by the way. I am waiting to hear about a new pup for me. I put money on a litter of Chessies due next month. Just waiting to find out if there are enough girls for me.

Where do you train your Chessie? I have been a long time member of NAVHDA but am looking to get involved in the retriever world now.

I did all the traning my self in my back yard, local marshes and lakes. He still has a long way to go but he has the drive. Trigger is a yellow English lab. It was raining all day making him look a bit like a chessie. I thought about getting a chessie but he fell right on my lap at the right price. At 66Lbs. he is perfict size for my style of gunning. Small dog Big Hart!

Thanks for the follow up. Sorry about the mis-identification of your pup. Still holds true that he is a great looking pup.

At 66lb he is a great size dog. I am hoping the female Chessie I am planning for will top out under 70lbs.

No biggy some people ask if he is a gloden due to his colors. Chessies are great gun dogs. Best of luck on getting your new family mamber/gunning partner.
