It ain't just a Chessie/Lab thing, My wife has a Pekingese bitch that follows our Border Collie when she does her business. Uses her like a soft serve ice cream machine, it never touches the ground!

Cat shit must be a dessert item, I never saw a dog refuse a helping.
 
feces of every species!! There are things you can put in your food that will make your stool unpalatable-----now i know why my wife insists i close the lid when flushing!!

Man, i think i just blew lunch!
 
1) Flush when you get up.
2) If he's eating his poop too, feed him Pineapple. It's supposed to stop it.

Hes never eaten any poop that I know, There plenty of piles outside. I've had Chessies all my life, I'm 61 now, I've seen them eat rotten Bunkers and dead fish that would choke a maggot. I've always been able to stick my hand down there throat and get out most of the mung. But I had to stop at this adventure its the worst Id ever seen.
 
Jack, Tom M always said he wouldnt own a charter boat without a hose out head. Just something about getting home from a trip and finding what the sea sick customers have left behind,,,,,,,
but that dog takes the cake for trying to keep the ship clean in spite of the crew........

God I hope Rob and Michael were recorded when you told them this story,

it would have been much worse if he carried it around wanting to deliver it "to hand"
Kinda surprised he didn't - after having chessies for over 30 years, I can attest that they will retrieve "anything". LOL
 
Umm....first off I have voice mail and a cordless phone so it is unlikely that I will ever find myself in such a predicament.
 
I could start working on a paper mache turd if you wanted to start training your dog.
