Hi Steve. They're constructed of northern white cedar. Hollow, two piece. Keels are American holly.

So I am taking a class this weekend. Caricature carving. It is the first time I have done it and it is fun. Errors can be easily incorporated if need be. The completed one on the right is the instructors.
