Spectacular! As usual, chock full of creativity and style.
I neglected to post this sextet last month - From the Bench of George Williams:
These Wigeon will become 4 Drakes and 2 Hens - right after the moult.....
We've been away for most of the last month. I was home briefly - just long enough to mow lawns and trails - and repair the mower.
All the best,
SJS

Finished up a wood duck decoy/urn last week and also attended the public opening of the 75th annual juried show at the Springfield Museum of Art where one of my tableau pieces is in the exhibition that will run 'til October 3rd.
Meanwhile, I got the bug to completely re-do an acoustic pedalboard. Picked a nice cherry board out of the "wood library" to use for the frame. Here's the finished frame ready for the installation of the IEC, XLR, and 1/4" input /output jacks and wiring I have planned for it:
Eric Patterson said:My workbench is loaded up with some poplar we cut down and sawed over a decade ago. It will become the drawers for the workbench. The box shown is the first box I made with my dovetailer and was meant to help me get familiar with how to set it up so I can make the drawers. I think the first box came out good enough for these drawers. Hope to work on this project over the next month or so. The last picture is of some osage orange trees my neighbor who owns tree service cut down. We loaded and hauled 4 trailer loads of logs that range from 10" to 24" in diameter. The corner of the 16' trailer gives you some idea of scale. They are at my friend's sawmill and we are going to cut and kiln dry them in the coming months. I will be selling this wood as there is more than I can use in four lifetimes.
