Congrats on another milestone in your life. I have been seeing the news reports on TV and was wondering if you are being affected by all the rain or just how close that weather system is to you?

Criminalistics / Forensics was one of my favorite college courses. So much neat stuff that the everyday person doesn't think about. Good luck in your new job.

Tom, I will be putting in for the Sambar Deer permit that's for sure. Never know, I might get lucky.

Dave, the rain hasn't affected me here in Jacksonville. At least not much, other than raise the humidity levels. Out west for sure they're getting hammered. When I was over there on Tuesday, I hit the first part of the storm heading to my house in the morning. LOTS of rain coming down in sheets. Seems to drain quickly in that area, but there was a tree down across the road and powerlines with it, causing me to have to back track to go another way to get to the house.

I do know that I've never seen the Suwannee so high, and it rose more by the time I headed home to Jacksonville after closing on the house out there.

Congratulations Dani. Now try and get some of those other LE individuals out on a hunt or two so they can have a better understanding of our world.

Thanks again y'all! It's been an adventure of things not going the way it's planned ..... but I started work last week so i'm here in tallahassee now...

Bill....hahahahah alls I could say was yup he's a dead duck....whether he got dead close and quick or far and slow, or some variation there....

Awesome! I know a medical examiner in Canada that has to testify regularly - she says she always get's nervous, but she is comforted by the fact that facts are facts :)
