Tim,

I live in Elizabethtown, PA. I don't know of any locally available. But, I have not searched that hard. I know there are plenty of sources in Jersey. Sorry I do not have any specifics. Maybe one of the guys in NJ can chime in for you with a source.

Tim, there are a couple of guys in South Jersey. If you want to travel here send me a PM and I'll give you their info...........Kevin

I know that you can buy sawn timber from Gates custom milling in Gates, NC but I don't know about logs etc. It's such a long haul for you and shipping no doubt would be exorbitant. BTW we call that stuff Juniper around here. I made a couple of canvas swans and geese using juniper for the bottom and back boards. Used fletchings that were cut from one of the last virgin stands of Atlantic White Cedar that was harvested in the Great Dismal Swamp. Boat builders love juniper because of it's weight strength and resistance to rot.

Hope you can get what you need,
Harry
