We do not have an exact weight yet but my brother is 285 6'2" and he sits in it with room to spare. It will hold a big guy with no issue at all. I am 6 foot and 220 and I could swim inside. Its the most comfy layout I have ever been in.

Good deal! I am 6'3" pushing 300 with a size 14-15 foot. I have hunted out of several layouts and have not found one that fits me the way I would like, mainly in the foot region. Have a price yet?

Matt, you will fit in this layout, no problem. You could spend the weekend in that thing! Would love to see that on an eider hunt.

That is a very sweet layout. If Mile was selling it at the NJ get together, I'd be sleeping in it aftery wife kicked me out for buying it. Very nice boat!

I am a size 13 shoe, you will have no problem in it. Price is not set yet. As soon as we have the hatch cover finalized we will have a price.

what is the height of boat off the water looks really stable would be interested in that boat i am not real happy with my mlb not enough foot room

here are the specs. the boat is 14'2" and has a 60" beam with 16" of free board. the cockpit opening is 25"x40". there is no problem with foot room on this boat. the boat is approximately 280lbs. i will have my brother take some pics of the inside foot room. as well as the flotation bulkheads height. we built this boat to last and with guides in mind. the boat is cored and heavily cored around the cockpit so you can step on the top of the boat from your tender and not worry about damaging the boat. the boat can be hunted in rougher seas then your lower profile layouts and can be towed. which in turn keeps you hunting it more. there will be less blown out layout hunts with the white cap 14. and we all know the more it blows the more the birds move. so its better to be hunting them then watching them.

Michael,
Is that David Clarks old design and mold? Its looks similar and I thought the name was the same but I could be wrong.

yes it is the same boat. my brother and i have the molds and the rights to build them. as soon as we have them coast guard approved and a set price form our builder we will be taking orders. any intrest in ordering i am going to start a list because the intrest in the boat is growing. pm me if you want to get on the list. then when the time comes and the boat is uscg approved i will start at the top of the list and let you know the cost and we will take it from there.

Michael,
I did not mean to imply that you were not allowed to build them. I knew he was selling his molds so I assumed everything was on the up and up. Good for you it looks like a really nice boat.

i did not take it like that. there just been a lot of questions who whats and wheres. about the boat. i dont think many people knew that the molds were for sale. i just wanted to clear it up all the questions. you know how the internet can get read out of context. sorry if it read that way.

I would definitely be interested in one next year. With the tow point being that far up, do you see any problems with it nose diving over wakes from the boat?

the next boats built will have a bottom tow eye that will make it tow higher mout of the water. i dont think you will have to worry about your boat wake. i ran the boat in the back ditches to try to get to jump the wake but it tracked well as you see in the video.
