Went after wigeons today. Set up before light and was in the wrong spot for sure. Didn't fire a shot by noon. Picked up and set up in a different location. Now I am on the X. It makes so much difference. Sorry not many pics. Only River retrieving ducks and the end of the day pose. I hope everyone season is going great.

Gary, those pics tell it all. Happen to really like that second shot of River with the beautiful gadwall drake. Next would have to be the third picture. There is no doubt that you found the spot where the ducks wanted to be. Nice hunt.
I forgot to mention that I like your new word! Very apropos.

WOW what a Day for you and the PUP, the PUP really meant Business and those Deeks, WOW agian, great work did you make them yourself.........?

Gary,

Neat how the colors on the widgeon and on Rivers muzzle match up in pic #4.
You have a wonderful resource to hunt there, and you obviously have taken the time to know how to hunt it. Looking forward to your posts as the season progresses.

Gary thanks for sharing the photos any duck hunter should appreciate them all. What a great set up and rig!!!!! I truly am jealous

Paul - My boat is a David Clark Estuary and yes It has been the best boat I have ever owned. It just fits my style of hunting. Just me and my dog. Holds lots of decoys. My sxs is a 20ga. dehaan. Made in Turkey. Most don't think there that great but this is my second one and I love it at 6 lbs. It doesn't kick and isn't very loud. This old guy likes that. God only knows how many boats I have had in my life. Si I really like Daves. I hope to buy another from him one day.

Ultra crisp focus on River! Specatular photos and always great to see River, the Estuary, that fine rig of decoys and your photos.

Wow Gary! As always great pictures from a beautiful area. Also recieved my copy of Wildfowl yesterday (I must be last on the shipping list) great storey. Our season is starting really, really slow. Been out twice and have a woody drake and a ringneck. Our goose opens Saturday so we're hoping to improve. As always looking to see and hear more from you.
