Wing bones…

I realize this is primarily a duck site, but ‘tis the season, and I’ve got wing bones in the pot.

We’re trying to make a call from my son’s bird along with some Canada geese we killed last winter.

We’d welcome any tips for call/section lengths.
 
I'm no expert, but this works for me. Just cut the knobby ends off the bones and trim a little so they fit together nice. Each bird will be a little different depending on size. I've seen some guys go shorter/stubbier. I guess it is a matter of personal preference really. Hope this helps.
