witch boat to buy

So witch boat would an experianced duck boat hunter buy, Between Carstens Canvasback or the large Four rivers. I plan on puting a 6.5 beavertail on it. mostly layout hunting in smaller holes with a dog. And sometimes another guy. Really there is not a big diffrence in price new. Just looking for some input. Take care fellas
 
I had a new Carstens Canvasback for a very short time. Good boat for small water and no waves. Just was not right for what I was looking to use it for. It is rated for a 6.5 hp. Very light and the floor seemed to be very thin. While running you could see and feel the floor flex with every ripple in the water. If your using it in some ponds or small lakes it should be fine.
 
I'd check out the MoMarsh DP for a mud motor designed layout boat. Ira's got some short video on his site and that boat is unstoppable for its size. Just my 2 cents ...
 
I have a four rivers boat, the large model and I love the boat. I hunt the marshes of tthe great salt lake where most depths are no more then 3 feet. It hides great all grassed out and I run a 5 horse 2 stroke on it with no problems. If u want some pics of it shhot me pm.
