Actually I did these for the LA Environmental Educators for door prizes. They wanted something cheap and easy that teacher could do in the classroom. Just 1 and 2 lt coke bottles, chloroplast head, wheel weight keel, eye screw for attachment, and a quick and easy paint job (no color mixing).

That's a pretty good idea for a classroom. Something a kid can float in a tub if nothing else.

Very cool Clint. I'm sure a guy could shoot a duck over those. I remember when you could buy a deal kist and a plastic keel attachment for using 2 liter bottles. Anybody else remember those? dc
 
Clint thats a neat idear, I saw these type of decoys out in Malta when I was there and they dont bring them in, they just leave them floting in the bay.
