Don't remind me! I've got a lot of saving to do over the next 5 years.

Thanks guys. Hard to believe 9 years has past since his first hunt (see picture below). I don't know how many places I've taken him to over the years but of all the areas I've hunted the past 30+ seasons he's seen most of them. When I started duck hunting at 16 I had zero knowledge of the sport. At 14 he has already mastered numerous skills and has a large working knowledge. Showing him has been enriching. I'd like to do it all over again.

Eric - You probably don't remember this but I actually met you on that day 9 yrs ago at the boat ramp! I was engaged at the time and remember seeing him thinking if we were blessed enough to have kids one day then I'll take them out that young as well. Well, last year I took my 5yr old daughter and 2yr old son hunting 2 times and they had a ball. Can't believe how much he has grown up, where does time go?!!

Kyle, wow. If you hadn't mentioned it I would not remembered but I do remember that now. We ran into you at Town Creek a couple years ago and Thomas knows you now. Thanks for sharing that. Very cool.

That is great Eric.
I have enjoyed reading about your hunts together. It always brings a smile to my face.
Nothing better than taking your kids around and showing them the ropes.
I'm sure you will be proud and most of all relieved to know Thomas will know what he is doing when the time comes to head out on his own.
Looks like Thomas and Patrick will have a long future hunting and learning even more.
You done well Eric
